Salon Suite Solutions, Inc. takes the private nature of your personal information seriously. This policy regarding our privacy practices (the “Policy”) describes how we treat the information we collect when you use our website, apps, products, services, and content (collectively, the “Services”). When you use the Services, you are consenting to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this Policy; please read it carefully.

This Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including but not limited to any third party websites, services and applications (“Third Party Services”) that you elect to access through the Service. While we try to facilitate access only to those Third Party Services that share our respect for your privacy, we don’t take responsibility for the content or privacy policies of those Third Party Services. We encourage you to carefully review the privacy policies of all Third Party Services you access.

 

WHAT WE COLLECT

 

Information You Give Us. We may, on occasion, ask you to directly enter data about yourself. For example, if you create an account on our Services, we may ask you to enter certain information.  We may ask you for information such as your‎ name, postal address, email address, phone number, username, password, demographic information (such as your gender and occupation). We may collect, store and use the information you directly input into our Services.

 

Information We Get From Others. We may receive information about you from other sources, including from Third Party Services.

 

Other User’s Phone Books If another user sends us information from his or her phonebook, and your information is listed in that phone book, we may combine the information from that user’s phonebook with other information we have collected about you. We may also obtain information from other sources and combine that with the information we collect through the Services .

 

Information Automatically Collected. We may automatically collect certain information about you and your computer. For example, we may collect information about how you use our services, including your IP address, operating system type, browser type, browser language, unique device identifiers (including MAC address and IMEI), pages you viewed, how long you spent on a page, access times and information about your use of and actions on our Services. We may also collect information related to your mobile device, including for example your phone number.  We may collect such information directly, or we may work with third party service providers to collect and analyze this information. We may use this information to improve the Services, such as by allowing you to verify your account by text message.

 

Payment Information : We will sometimes collect financial information, such as information related to your payment method (e.g., credit card number, type, expiration date, etc.), for example when you decide to purchase a paid Service. We do not store that financial information; such information is stored by our third party payment processor (the “Payment Processor”), and use and storage of that information is governed by the Payment Processor’s applicable terms of service and privacy policy (you are responsible for familiarizing yourself with those terms, as applicable). We may receive information from our Payment Processor, for example, a unique token that we connect with your account to enable you to make additional purchases using the payment information stored by our Payment Processor and in certain cases, the last four digits of the credit card number associated with that token, to help reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions and identity theft.
Transport of credit card information is always performed via SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol.

 

Crash Info: We also collect certain device information to help us diagnose problems, crashes or bugs in our Services. .

 

Device Phonebook and Photos Our Services may ask your permission to access your device’s phonebook, photos and other device information. We do this so that we can help connect you to your friends and contacts, and enhance the Services with additional functionality, and for any other purpose described in this Policy. You can revoke your consent to our ongoing ability to collect information from your device by changing the settings on your device, if your device offers that option, or by simply deleting our app from your device .

 

Location Information Our services may ask your permission to access your device location. We may use this location information to provide location-based features, and for any other purpose described in this Policy. You can revoke your consent by changing the settings or preferences on your device. However, if you do so, certain features of the Services will no longer function .

 

Cookies. Like most online services, we may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in memory. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience.  This type of information is collected to make the Services more useful to you and to tailor the experience with us to meet your special interests and needs.

 

Email Tracking:  We may place information in our emails to you (such as a web beacon) that allows us to measure our email deliverability.

 

Information We Collect When You Contact Us : When you contact our support team or communicate with us in any other way, we may collect certain information relating to your communication. We may use this information to help improve our support, our Services, and for any other purpose in this Policy.

 

 

 

How We Use Information

We use your personal information as follows:

Where Information Is Processed

The Services are based in the United States. Regardless of where you live, or where you are physically located when you use our Services, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to the U.S. and other countries.

 

 

SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may share certain information with your contacts : When you let us access your device phonebook, we may share information about you with other users who have your phone number in their device phonebook. We may do this, for example, to help you connect to your friends and contact who already use the services.

We may share information about you with service providers who perform services on our behalf or otherwise perform work for us. With respect to jointly offered Services or services offered separately by other companies through our Services, we may share information about you with business partners to provide the Services and functionality you request and to communicate with you about those services.

We may share information about you with your consent or at your direction, or as otherwise provided in this Policy.

We may share personal information when we do a business deal, or negotiate a business deal, involving the sale or transfer of all or a part of our business or assets. These deals can include any merger, financing, acquisition, or bankruptcy transaction or proceeding.

We may share personal information for legal, protection, and safety purposes. For example, we may share information to comply with laws; to respond to lawful requests and legal processes; to protect the rights and property of Company, our agents, customers, and others (this includes enforcing our agreements, policies, and terms of use); we may share information in an emergency, including for example, the safety of our employees and agents, our customers, or any person.

We may also share aggregated and/or anonymized data with others for their own uses.

 

Children

Children under 13 should not use our Services. We do not direct our Services to anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

 

INFORMATION CHOICES AND CHANGES

 

Email Communications .

·          Administrative Emails . As part of the Services, we may occasionally send you email and other communications, such as administrative communications relating to your Account (e.g., for password resets). These communications are part of the Services, and you may not be able to opt-out from receiving them. 

·          Marketing Emails . You can opt out of receiving our marketing emails here by following opt-out instructions provided in the email.

·          Phishing Attacks . We will never email you to ask for your password or other Account information. If you receive such an email, please forward it to us.

 

Cookies . You can typically remove and reject cookies from our Services by adjusting your browser settings.  If you remove or reject our cookies, it could affect how our Services work for you.

 

Deleting Your Account . While we hope you’ll remain a lifelong user, you can delete your account by contacting our customer service team. However, we may retain certain information in backup for a limited period of time or as required by law.
